| STUDENT'S GUILD

The Students Guild is a link between the students’ body and the University Administration. It is headed by a Guild President who is democratically elected by the students in accordance with the existing guidelines.

We exist to make sure that students get best out of Makerere University.

The Guild Cabinet

The guild cabinet constitutes of 21 members headed by the Guild President. Only directly elected members of the Guild Representative Council are eligible to be appointed as ministers

The Guild Representative Council is composed of the speaker, deputy speaker , hall representatives, school representatives, four representatives of persons with disabilities , chairperson of halls of residence,

The Electoral Commission

The Electoral Commission is composed of the chairperson, vice chairperson , secretary, finance commissioner and public relations commissioner who are elected by the Guild Representative Council and responsible for supervising the guild elections in the University.
